Our Team
Dr. Diane R Keahey
Dr. Diane R Keahey is a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice, and over 40 years of nursing experience. Although she specializes as a Family Nurse Practitioner, her experience also includes accident and injury, pain management, and Emergency Room Care. In addition to family medicine, Dr. Keahey is certified in IV Therapy and Hormone Replacement Therapy.
Dr. Keahey is the previous owner of 2 Family Practice clinics here in Sherman and worked as a provider at Wilson N Jones emergency room. Dr. Keahey earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degree from Texas Woman’s University and her Doctorate Degree from the University of Tennessee.
Dr. Keahey has been working for Diverse Care Clinic for the past 3 years and is a primary care provider for several insurance companies, to include Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, AETNA, Amerigroup, Superior Healthplan, Ambetter, Humana, and more. Diane is also credentialed to see both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
Dr. Shebey Thomas, M.D.
Dr. Shebey Thomas (M.D) is a Texas native with a diverse clinical background. He attended The University of Debrecen Medical School (UDMS) in Hungary where he completed his pre-medical and medical school training and graduated Cum Laude.
After completion he returned to Texas and assisted in several Clinical Trials involving Diabetes and Metabolism as a Clinical Research Assistant, under the Endocrinology and Metabolism Research Institute of the Houston Methodist Hospital.
Dr. Thomas then completed his internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at the Guthrie/Robert Packer Hospital in Pennsylvania. He received several awards during his training including Internal Medicine Resident of the Year and American College of Physicians (ACP) Pennsylvania Chapter Exemplar of Professionalism Award.
After completion in 2015 and board certification in Internal Medicine he returned home to Texas with a primary specialty focus on acute care medicine as a Hospitalist/Nocturnist with the University of Texas Medical Branch Hospital (UTMB). In which he holds status as Clinical Assistant Professor (non-tenure track clinical).
Since then Dr. Thomas has further diversified his clinical focus to post-acute medical, long-term care (LTC), and hospice care in which he serves as a Medical Director. In addition to also serving as a consultant physician in Internal Medicine for several Advanced Practitioner (AP) led Ambulatory community practices. Dr. Thomas resides in Houston, Texas and enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
Mr. Nidish Jose, AGNPC
Nidish Jose, AGNPC, is the founder of Community First Primary Care. With 20 years of experience in the medical field, including 7 years as a Nurse Practitioner, he has dedicated himself to providing exceptional care across all age groups, with a particular focus on geriatrics. He was drawn to this specialty by the evident need to support the “greatest generation” and has advanced his education to better serve both his patients and the community. As the aging population’s needs grow, he believes it is the responsibility of the next generation to meet these challenges.
Outside of his professional life, Nidish enjoys time with his wife, who also works in the medical field, and their two young adult sons who aspire to become surgeons. Raised in rural Oklahoma, he continues to enjoy outdoor activities, especially by the lake, and has a passion for driving custom cars.
At Diverse Care, Nidish and his team are committed to an individualized approach to care, bringing their services directly to patients’ homes through a range of mobile services. Their goal is to address medical needs with discretion and efficiency, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care in the comfort of their own homes.
